Job description
Night Shift ForemanMueller Refrigeration is looking for a hands-on supervisor of Machining and Assembly personnel, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm Monday – Friday.Key ResponsibilitiesAssign manpower to given cells and oversee hourly personnel to meet daily requirements and maximize productivity.Coordinate training of new personnel and provide feedback on job performance, motivating and redirecting as needed.Address personnel issues and disputes and administer disciplinary action as required, in coordination with HR and company policies.Approve timesheets and PTO requests for assigned personnel.Communicate job status and priorities to management and other shifts.Report problems regarding maintenance, quality and safety to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.Necessary SkillsSolid blend of effective leadership and technical skills.Ability to convey messages effectively and avoid misunderstandings.Success in building and maintaining positive relationships with others.Ability to provide constructive feedback helping employees improve.Ability to address conflicts in a calm and constructive manner.Ability to identify and address challenges proactively.QualificationsAt a minimum, a high school diploma or general education degree.Associates Degree or Technical School Diploma preferred.Minimum of two years of related supervisory experience.Mueller Industries Companies provide equal opportunity in employment to all employees and applicants for employment.
