nWhat You'll Be Doing:
nnnOperate locomotives to transport materials within the plant.
n
nnPerform routine inspections and maintenance on locomotives.
n
nnEnsure safe and efficient operation of rail equipment.
n
nnCoordinate with team members to manage rail movements.
n
nnMaintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.
n
n nWhat Are We Looking For:
nnnProficiency in operating locomotives and rail equipment.
n
nnStrong attention to safety and operational procedures.
n
nnEffective communication and teamwork skills.
n
nnAbility to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
n
nnFlexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
n
n nConditions of Employment:
nnnSuccessful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
n
nnSome positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
n
n nWork Environment:
nnRole operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
n nPhysical Demands of the Job:
nnnAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
n
nnProlonged periods of standing, walking, and working on equipment.
n
nnFrequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
n
nnUse of hands and fingers to handle or feel tools and equipment.
n
nnAbility to work in confined spaces and at heights.
n
n nWhat We Offer:
nnnStarting Pay $28.00 per hour DOE (Depending on experience)
