Job DescriptionThe inspector must support all the activities assigned to the quality department of the facility as well as provide reports to applicable management.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for yard compliance to NOV policies and procedures such as, but not limited to HSE and HRResponsible for yard compliance with the Tuboscope Threading Quality Manual requirementsPart inspection and auditing of operator inspections per applicable quality system, licensing agency, or customer requirements.Complete inspection reports.Audit operators' first article and inspection reports.Complete understanding of the inspection program.Complete non-conformance reports and communicate status to applicable management.Be able to perform all of the requirements from level 1.Must pass and maintain code 70 inspection certification.Be able to perform all of the inspection and non-conformance reporting requirements listed in standard operating procedures.In process audits/First part inspections.Manufacturing inspections.Receiving inspections.Aid with and audit facility production paperwork as required.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentPrevious experience with mechanical inspection preferred but not required.Ability to solve basic math equations.Must be able to learn and operate mechanical testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and scales.Blueprint reading skills are preferred but not required.Maintain code 70 certification.Manage ordering and customer authorizations for proprietary items.Able to perform acceptance inspection on material purchased by the facility.Job InfoJob Identification 44423Job Category QualityJob Schedule Full timeLocations 3100 S Crane, Odessa, TX, 79766, US
