Job description
The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Geriatric Psychiatry unit (2JPE) at John Pappajohn Pavilion. This 14-bed inpatient unit cares for dementia, depression, anxiety, Parkinson’s and related conditions, with electroconvulsive therapy and therapy services.
The role involves applying nursing theory to patient care, coordinating across teams, developing care plans, and documenting responses. 70-80% time, night shifts Mon-Thu, Iowa City location.
