Job description

Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Literature and Creative Writing Department, beginning July 1, 2027, to teach American Literature of the long nineteenth century in a hemispheric or trans-oceanic context. We seek candidates with secondary expertise in Environmental Studies, Disability Studies, or Queer Studies.

The position includes undergraduate advising after year one.
