n nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES
nnADDRESS BASIC REPAIRS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE DIAGNOSTIC WORK
nInspect customer vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues
nTroubleshoot reported problems and run appropriate diagnostic tests
nConduct repairs with a focus on fixed right the first time
nPerform thorough maintenance on all vehicle systems
nType and complexity of work will depend on technician experience
nProvide consultation on preventative maintenance
nCommunicate effectively with customers and other team members
nKeep accurate logs of work performed and time tracking
nFollow all workplace safety guidelines
n nJOB REQUIREMENTS
nnRecommended years of experience and training vary per role
nExcellent knowledge of vehicles, mechanical, electrical, and other systems
nAptitude in using all necessary tools and technologies
nAbility to follow established procedures, instructions, and manufacturer requirements
nProblem-solving ability a must
nStrong communication skills
nCommitment to all health and safety guidelines
nPhysical strength and stamina as needed for appropriate repairs
nHigh school diploma preferred
nCertification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship a definite plus
nValid driver’s license
