Job description
Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for Live-In Caregivers / Home Health Aides to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. The Live-In Caregiver is present in the home and available to provide assistance intermittently throughout a 24 hour period.
nWe have current job openings for Live-In Caregivers in the following locations:
nnALL OF NORTHERN & SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY
n nBAYADA offers Live-Ins / HHAs:
nnnBase Pay: $1,360 - $1,450 WEEKLY (pay rate depends on level of care involved)
n
nnBonus Opportunities - for covering emergency fill-ins, referring other HHAs to BAYADA, and more.
n
nnTransportation provided for live-ins
n
nnHome Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA's group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period .
n
nnHome Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.

n nQualifications for Live-In / HHA:
nnnMinimum ONE FULL YEAR work experience as an HHA, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
n
nnHave completed a recognized HHA training course and hold an ACTIVE NEW JERSEY HHA License
n

nnA passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.

nnMust be able to attend orientation in-person at a BAYADA office and pass a skills evaluation with our Clinical Manager.

n nJob Responsibilities for Live-In / HHA:
nnnActivities of daily living
n
nnLight housekeeping
n
nnBathing
n
nnGrooming
n
nnToileting
n
nnNail care
n
nnRange of motion / exercises
n
nnTransfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
n
nnOral feeding
n
nnVital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
n
nnHome Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
n
nnAssisting with ambulation
n
nnMedication assistance
n
nnRemain in the home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by clinical manager.
n
