About Albuquerque, New Mexico
The Albuquerque metro area is home to over 900,000 people, with the city itself being home to roughly 560,000. The city and its suburbs offer some of the Best Public Schools in New Mexico. People enjoy living in the suburbs of Albuquerque, New Mexico for many reasons: affordability, outdoor access, a strong sense of community, and good amenities without the congestion of a large city. Albuquerque has a high-desert climate: plenty of sunshine, low humidity, four seasons, warm summers, mild winters at lower elevations, with snow and colder weather in higher nearby mountains. This means you can enjoy the city's open spaces, river trails, parks, and golf courses, while being a short drive from the hiking and biking trails of the Sandia Mountains. The city is home to the University of New Mexico (UNM), which offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies. For those who like to travel, you are minutes from Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ)!
