Nocturnist at UMROI - Baltimore, Maryland
We have an opportunity for a Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Institute in Baltimore, MD.
Position Details
Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.

EMR: Epic
Must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with an active Maryland license, BLS, ACLS, DEA and CDS License.

University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Institute (UMROI) is the largest provider of inpatient rehabilitation care in the state of Maryland.
UM Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Institute provides specialized rehabilitation services in each of its four 32-bed units. Each unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team led by a rehabilitation physician collaborating in quality care delivery with the disciplines of nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, therapeutic recreational, case management and dietary, in addition to consulting with other physician services such as ENT and Urology.
UM Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Institute has provided inpatient services to over 20,000 patients in the past 10 years.
UM Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Institute is located on the Baltimore City/County line with easy access to the Baltimore Beltway I-695 and I-70.
REQUIREMENTS
BE/BC in Internal Medicine
Strong inpatient skill set
Quality-focused team player
Experience working with advanced practice providers
Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Effective oral and written communication skills
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Active (state) license, American Heart Association CPR certification, DEA License, State controlled substance registration, ACLS
