We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Nocturnist to provide overnight inpatient coverage at an established healthcare facility in Fortuna, California .
Located in the scenic Eel River Valley of Humboldt County, Fortuna offers easy access to California's breathtaking redwood forests, Northern California coastline, and abundant outdoor recreation. Assignment Details
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Coverage: October , 2026 with future dates available
Orientation: October 19
Minimum: 6 shifts
Guaranteed: 12 hours per shift
Overtime: Requires medical director pre-approval by the end of the shift
Expected volume: Approximately 16 patient encounters per shift
Credentialing: Estimated 60 days
Requirements
Active California medical license CA license only
DEA required
Board Certified , or Board Eligible
BLS certification
