Job description
WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to join our team as a nocturnist. This role involves working in a dynamic hospital environment, providing exceptional care to patients during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality medical services and collaborating effectively with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities Oversee the Rapid Response Team (RRT) and manage their codes.
Responsible for coordinating ICU transfers from the hospitalist floor to ICU and vice versa, if necessary.
Admit approximately 6-8 patients per shift.
Collaborate with a team of 3 other nocturnists and receive support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Work exclusively out of one hospital.
Requirements Must be Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine (IM).
Connecticut (CT) License required.
Available for a permanent full-time role.
