Non Invasive Cardiologist
nHewitt, New Jersey
nHackensack Meridian Health seeks to employ a BC/BE Cardiologist to join our expanding health system. The successful candidate will provide consultative services, evaluation and management of inpatients and outpatients at Hackensack University Medical Center and ambulatory services at Hackensack Meridian Health practice location in Hewitt, NJ. The role involves cardiovascular diagnostic imaging services in both practice and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care.
nnnProvide consultations, non invasive testing, evaluation and management services in HMH ambulatory clinical practice locations with a commitment to excellent patient experience

nnRound on inpatient units at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) providing consultative services as required
n
nnCardiology coverage for the Emergency Trauma Center (ETC) as scheduled
n
nnParticipate in echo and EKG reading panels as needed
n
nnParticipate in stress testing hospital coverage
n
nnParticipate in cardiology fellow education as requested
n
nnThis physician will have the opportunity to supervise the clinical work of the Advanced Practice Nurse if present in office practice

nnParticipate in initiatives to support and enhance patient experience and continuity of care
n
nnJoin a dynamic network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support.

nnEligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

nn100% clinical position
n
nnMD/DO degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School.
n
nnCompletion of a 3-year Cardiology fellowship.

nnBoard Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiology

nnBoard Certified/Board Eligible in Echo

Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies. Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
nIn addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
