Outreach Patient Advocates - Omaha Metro Area
Our Non-Medical Care Companions will work with Outreach clients to not only ensure the client is in a safe and comfortable environment, but also bring connection and joy into their daily lives!
We are looking to hire:
Part-time or Full-time Caregivers with Evening and Weekend availability
Overnight Caregivers
Hourly Pay Rate: $17+
Care Companion Responsibilities:
Provide companionship through conversation, shared hobbies, games and simply being present
Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, errands, and light housekeeping
Accompany clients on walks, outings or to appointments
Assist with personal care such as dressing and toileting
Help create moments of joy – favorite music, gratitude journals, storytelling and laughter
Watch for changes in mood or wellbeing and communicate with the client care manager
Treat each client with dignity, patience, and respect
Outreach is looking for Candidates who:
Have a genuine love for spending time with older adults
Are reliable and work well independently
Have a calm and positive presence
Have strong communication skills
Ability to pass a background check
