This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.What we offer:Flexible scheduling optionsA team that truly values your dedication and compassionBasic requirements:Genuine compassion and patienceValid identification and eligibility to workResponsibilities of Hourly Caregiver – Requirements & QualificationsAt least 6 months of caregiving experience preferredPCA or CNA certification encouraged but not requiredCPR and First Aid certification preferred/recommendedMust be an Alaska resident particularly in Palmer or Wasilla near locationValid driver's license preferredReliable transportation preferredCompassionate and empathetic attitudeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, responsible, and dependableAbility to assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)Ability to provide personal care and companionshipAble to assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and light housekeepingAble to assist with mobility and transportation needsWilling to complete required pre-employment screening and background checksMust be willing to attend required orientation and trainingExperienceCandidates should have prior experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes. Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly valued. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, patient monitoring techniques, first aid and CPR certification, manual handling skills including heavy lifting and patient transfers such as Hoyer lifts are essential.
