Now Hiring: Part-Time Program Director (Dyersburg)
Dyersburg First United Methodist Church, serving as the host church, is partnering with St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and other Dyer County churches and community organizations to launch an innovative, faith-based respite program called Happy Friends.
Happy Friends will provide a welcoming, social program for friends in the early stages of dementia while offering structured, meaningful relief for their caregivers.
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and organized leader to help develop and launch this important new ministry.
Are you someone who can:
Cultivate a professional, compassionate, and welcoming environment for people living with dementia?
Build strong relationships with churches, community partners, and other organizations while helping with fundraising efforts?
Recruit, train, support, and manage volunteers?
Help develop and coordinate meaningful programs and activities for participants?
Starting pay: $20 per hour, for up to an initial 10 hours per week
Anticipated program launch: Early 2027

Applicants will be expected to obtain First Aid/BLS certification and successfully complete applicable background checks.
