Now Hiring: Production Supervisor
We're seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage our production operation and assigned departments to achieve store sales goals. This is an exempt position reporting directly to the Store Manager. You'll provide direction to presorters, separators, hangers, utility personnel, bailers, and assigned department staff. When needed, you'll manage the store in the absence of the store manager and assistant manager for up to two weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve maximum sales performance by ensuring proper quantity of saleable goods, value pricing, correct signage, and proper merchandise handling
Implement all aspects of the customer service program
Provide training, answer questions, give directions, and offer performance feedback to employees and community service workers
Maintain daily employee attendance records and provide coaching on safety and performance issues
Oversee parking lot cleanliness, delegate maintenance assignments, and ensure store exterior is neat
Make prompt decisions to resolve problems submitted by associates
Requirements:
Two years of progressive retail experience with increased responsibilities
Experience working with a diverse workforce and individuals with developmental disabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to identify merchandise quality and price competitively
PC literate with Windows-based platform
Ability to delegate, follow up, and use good judgment in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds regularly
