Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Corrections | Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin
Experienced Nurse Practitioner needed for an on-site locum tenens corrections healthcare job in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Setting: Corrections / Correctional Healthcare
Start Date: 9/14/2026
Assignment Length: 26 weeks
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm with a 30-minute break
Shifts per Week: 4
Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
Hours per Week: 32
Work Arrangement: On-site
Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required
Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner license required at time of submission
Current CPR certification required; in-person certification only
Ability to commit to the full scheduled assignment and work hours
Experience in corrections, correctional healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or community-based care is preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professionalism in a structured care setting
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive advanced practice care to patients within a correctional treatment setting
Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and ongoing clinical management
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as appropriate
Document care accurately and maintain timely, compliant medical records
Support continuity of care and contribute to treatment-focused rehabilitation efforts
Follow facility protocols, clinical standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines
