"Primary Care Physician or Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)Position OverviewSeeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) or Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for temporary locum coverage while the practice recruits a permanent provider. This outpatient position focuses on adult and geriatric primary care with no ED backup or provider supervision responsibilities.
Compensation:
Hourly: $130/hrOvertime: $190/hrScheduleTentative Start Date: August 3, 2026Minimum Assignment: 12 weeksFull-time, MondayThursdayPractice SettingOutpatient Primary Care ClinicResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issuesPerform routine primary care evaluations and managementConduct pelvic examinations and Pap smearsPerform disability examinationsProvide care for adult and geriatric patientsNo Emergency Department backupNo supervision of other healthcare providersPractice DetailsFive Primary Care PhysiciansFour Advanced Practice ProvidersTwo to three exam roomsAdult and geriatric patient populationEMREpicRequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 3 years of training completion)Minimum of one year of Primary Care experienceActive Michigan licenseActive DEABLS certificationAvailable to work full-time MondayThursdaySelf-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentationLocal Michigan provider (drive-in candidate) requiredAdditional InformationTemporary privileges available.Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 10 business days."
