License/Certs: NY State License, AHA BLS, Board Certified

Experience: Minimum 3 years recent experience in Gastroenterology/Nursing

Pay & Benefits:Hourly Pay Rate: $111.39

What You ll Do:Evaluate medical problems of adult patients in an outpatient Gastroenterology setting

Request consults with specialty providers when necessary

Educate patients and families on preventive care, treatments, and medications

Document medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, and outcomes accurately

Refer complex cases to collaborating physicians and specialists

Prescribe and monitor medications relevant to patient diagnoses

Provide emergency interventions as needed, ensuring patient safety and well-being

What You Need:

Required:

NY State Nursing License

AHA BLS Certification

Minimum of 3 years recent experience in Gastroenterology or related field

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred:

Experience with electronic charting systems (EPIC) and automated medication dispensing

Certification in AHA or RQI programs
