We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens nocturnist position near Ottawa, West Virginia. This role is designed to address extra volume and provide essential nighttime coverage. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospitalist setting and be comfortable managing inpatient care. This opportunity offers flexibility in scheduling and a supportive working environment.

Practice Setting : Inpatient
Responsibilities and Expectations Primary Responsibilities :Provide nocturnist coverage from 7pm to 7am
Manage and treat a variety of inpatient cases
Conduct admissions and oversee patient care during the night shift
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
Rounding on assigned patients
Requirements and Qualifications Certifications :BLS required
Licensing : Must be licensed in West Virginia or eligible for IMLC
Experience : Prior experience in hospitalist or nocturnist roles preferred
Schedule and Coverage Shift Details :12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am
Flexible start times may be considered, but the preference is for 12-hour shifts
Approximately 14 shifts per month
Allowed Holidays :New Year's Day
4th of July

Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
