Job description
NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician Assistant)
Both Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) are advanced healthcare professionals who work collaboratively with physicians to provide patient care, but they have distinct educational backgrounds and scopes of practice. NPs have a background in nursing and focus on patient-centered care, while PAs are trained in a medical model and work more closely with physicians.

Compensation Highlights:
Earn up to $190K as a 1099 contractor.
Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
Duties and Requirements:
Provide emergency care in a busy ED
Shifts: options include 7a-5p, 2p-2a, 6p-6a and 1-11p
2 years recent experience Emergency Medicine experience required
Collaborate with APPs for seamless patient care.
ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
Community and Organization:
Practice in a supportive ED just minutes south of Atlanta.

Qualifications (Minimum and Preferred):
Education: Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based Emergency Medicine experience as an APP required
Licensure: Active GA NP/PA license or eligibility
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS
Preferred Experience: Prior experience working in high-volume ED settings
