Full Time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
Genesis OB/GYN Northwest, an affiliate of Unified Women's Healthcare, is currently seeking a Full Time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our highly recognized and growing practice in Tucson, AZ. The providers at Genesis OB/GYN Northwest have cared for women with innovative techniques and advanced equipment since 2008. Be a part of a team environment joining 4 OB/GYNs, 2 Nurse Practitioners and 3 Certified Nurse Midwives!

Position Highlights:
Outpatient Only Opportunity with No Call
4 Day Work Week Available
Specializing in Women's Health - Seeing 100% Obstetrics and Gynecology Patients
Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
Fully licensed medical team and support staff

Requirements:
National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
