Florida Keys - NP / PA Emergency Medicine Opening - Near Islamorada
Escape to paradise with an exciting Emergency Medicine NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician Assistant) position in the stunning Florida Keys. This unique role covers two small emergency departments in the Florida Keys , offering competitive pay, a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to live where others vacation.
Highlights:
Competitive Pay: $85/hour as a Permanent 1099
Beautiful Locations: Work at two small, modern EDs
Flexible Scheduling: Shifts are 12p-8p with coverage across both facilities
Supportive Teams: Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals
Key Responsibilities: Independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients in emergency settings
Provide high-quality care while managing patient flow effectively
Work across two hospitals using Cerner EMR
Qualifications: Education: NP or PA program graduate with an active Florida license (or eligibility)
2 years recent Emergency medicine experience as an APP
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS are required
