Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Compassionate, energetic, responsible individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centric care in an orthopaedic sports medicine academic service.
Treats patients independently in an office setting and serves as a first assistant in the operating room.
Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
Maintains and reviews patient's records, charts and other pertinent information.
Participates in research projects and educational projects.
Performs related work as required.
No call responsibilities. Occasional evening hours.
Education: Graduate of a school of nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Experience: One year of related clinical experience preferred.
License/Registration: Valid state license. CPR certification required
