About the Position
A growing, mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in central Missouri is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Walk-In Clinic . This well-established, integrated healthcare organization provides comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, pediatric, and pharmacy services, with a strong commitment to delivering accessible, patient-centered care throughout the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys a fast-paced outpatient setting and wants to make a meaningful impact in an underserved community. The Walk-In Clinic offers same-day treatment for acute illnesses and minor injuries, providing a convenient alternative to the emergency department.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
Provide care for patients of all ages , from pediatrics through geriatrics
Deliver high-quality ambulatory care consistent with community standards
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
Help improve patient access and contribute to ongoing healthcare service planning
Schedule:
Full-time
Monday-Friday
Walk-in clinic hours may range from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Occasional weekend coverage may be required

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $120,000-$140,000 (based on experience)
