nJob Description:
nUtilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.

nPRACTICE SPECIFICS:
nnnCandidate would be joining a complex surgery team consisting of 4 APPs who are paired with 3 MD's.
n
nnThis is a clinic and hospital-based role, allowing our physicians to maintain surgical access while increasing access to care for our clinic patients.
n
nnThis essential position will help ensure walk-in, procedure follow-up, and wound care patients have immediate access to care in the clinic.

nn80% Hospital and 20% Clinical
n
nn1.0 FTE

nnTypical schedule: M-F

nnWeekend and call rotation: 1:4

nNP:
nCurrent licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
nCurrent licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.
nCurrent certification in CPR.
nNational certification in applicable area.
nSuccessful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
nPA:
nCurrent licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.
nCurrent certification in CPR.
nNational certification.
