nnnnnnnSumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Neurosurgeon nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work locum shifts in Rockford Illinois (IL). Starting in October 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
nnThe Neurosurgery role:
nnCoverage Need Details: Looking for a NP/PA covering inpatient neurology .
nShifts are M-F 7a-7p
n1 weekend per month
n Locum provider will be working with the neuro interventional doctors over the comprehensive stroke program.
n14 shifts a month.
nWill Candidate Work Solo?: No
nOn Call?: No
nAdult Percentage: 100.00
n nnRequirements of the Neurosurgery role:
nnIL state license; active, unrestricted
nBoard certified or Board Eligible
nCertifications- BLS or ACLS
nCSR License Required
n1 year of NP/PA experience minimum
nActive or transferable DEA
n nnnTravel and Compensation:
nnLodging: Airfare, Lodging; Rental Car
nCompetitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc.)
nMalpractice insurance provided
