Job description
ChristianaCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Epilepsy Team in our Outpatient Neurology specialty practice. The provider will care for both epilepsy/seizure and general neurology patients after completion of our thorough onboarding process and with support from the neurologists.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care to patients with epilepsy, seizures, and other neurologic conditions.
Work independently with supportive collaboration from the neurology team.
Complete full‑time Monday‑Friday clinical duties.
Participate in ongoing clinical education and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
Master’s degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Family, Adult, or Adult‑Geriatric Acute Care) or as a Physician Assistant.
Licensure or license eligibility for Delaware Registered Nurse (or compact state) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse as set forth by the Delaware Board of Nursing, or licensure as a Physician Assistant by the Delaware Board of Medicine.
Certification by the appropriate national organization for the area of specialty.
Prescriptive authority, including State of Delaware Controlled Substances and Federal DEA licensure.
BLS certification required.
Preferred: prior neurology experience and comfort working independently with collaboration.
Possible requirement of Maryland licensure and credentialing at Union Hospital.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive base salary: $112,554 – $139,477 per year.
