nUtilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
nEducation Qualifications:
nnnLicensed APP
n
nnPreferredRheumatology,Family Medicine, and/or Inpatientexperience (2+ years)

nnThe Rheumatology APP will completean initialonboarding and training period in Duluth alongside the physician team. This experience is designed to provide mentorship, clinical training, and familiarity with practice workflows before transitioning to independent practice in Brainerd.

n nLicensure/Certification Qualifications:
nCertificate / Licensure
nHired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
nNP:
nCurrent licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
nCurrent licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.
nCurrent certification in CPR.
nNational certification in applicable area.
nSuccessful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
nPA:
nCurrent licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.
nCurrent certification in CPR.
nNational certification.
