About the area
The City of Loma Linda approximates the population-weighted center of the Inland Empire of Southern California, which is the 12th most populous Metropolitan Statistical Area in the United States, and 2nd most populous in the State of California. This thriving area has a low cost of living and excellent private and public school systems.
Apple Valley, at a distance of 48 miles from Loma Linda, is a scenic locale, easily accessible, and famous as the backdrop of movies. Part of a sub-region known as the High Desert, Apple Valley also enjoys many sunny days, but with higher elevation, cooler climate, and more seasonal variation than other parts of the Inland Empire.
