nAbout the Role:
nNucor Steel Berkeley is seeking an EntryLevel Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or earlycareer professionals (up to 5 years of experience) who want handson experience, real responsibility, and longterm growth opportunities in a manufacturing environment.
nThis position reports to the Accounting Manager.
nBasic Job Functions:
nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
nnnAssisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
n
nnPreparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
n
nnSupporting cash management, inventory accounting, and fixed asset management
n
nnAssisting with forecasting, cost analysis, and expense reviews
n
nnSupporting special projects and process improvements
n
nnWorking collaboratively with finance, operations, and other departments
n

nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

nnRelevant coursework or academic projects will be considered
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnnInternship, coop, or earlycareer accounting or finance experience
n
nnInterest in pursuing CMA certification or a related graduate degree
n
nnManufacturing or cost accounting exposure
n
nnExperience with Oracle or other ERP systems
n
nnWillingness to relocate for future opportunities within Nucor
n
