nThe Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) SM-6 team is seeking an M4 Finance Lead to support the Performance, Field, Flight & Test (PFFT) portfolio of programs within the Shipboard Missiles SSBU under the Naval Power SBU.

nThe position supports financial activities for a mixture of unclassified and classified programs, including monthly Earned Value reporting, financial variance analysis, Estimates at Completion (EAC), Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), and monthly forecasting.

nWhat You Will Do

nnnLead a team of 2-3 analysts.

n

nnSupport program teams with external Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and requirements.

n

nnCompile monthly Earned Value reports for Program Management

n

nnCoordinate with functional organizations during the Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) processes.

n

nnMonitor program financial performance and analyze variances to plan.

n

nnCoordinate financial planning activities for the assigned program area, including RPLAN updates.

n

nnAnalyze and communicate program performance impacts to Bookings, Sales, Earnings, and Cash (BSEC).

n

nnPerform monthly data reconciliation.

n

nnServe as the financial point of contact for Program Management and functional partners

n

nnProvide financial analysis and recommendations to IPT members and non-finance organizations, including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.

n

nnAnalyze program data and prepare trend analyses using Microsoft Excel.

n

nnAttend program meetings and review Earned Value Management data.

n

nnCoordinate standard financial processes and resources across programs.

n

n nQualifications You Must Have

nnnTypically requires: a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

n

nnExperience with government Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and compliance requirements.

n

nnExperience using EVM tools, such as PMX, SAP, PRISM, or Program Metrics.

n

nnExperience using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting, including pivot tables, pivot charts, formulas, data analysis, and variance analysis.

n

nnExperience using Microsoft Word to prepare financial reports, program documentation, and written deliverables.

n

nnExperience using Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare financial presentations, program briefings, and management review materials.

n

nnExperience managing financial deliverables with established deadlines.

n

nnThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

n

nnU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

n nQualifications We Prefer

nnnExperience performing financial forecasting and program financial analysis.

nnExperience preparing and presenting financial briefings to management, customers, or peers.

nnExperience using SAP EV, ForProject, PMX, PRISM, or AO.

nnExperience preparing external Earned Value reports for customers.

nnExperience managing financial activities across multiple program priorities.

nThe salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

nRTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

nThis role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
