As a Nuclear Med Tech Part Time with HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!Job Summary and QualificationsWhat you will do in this role:Perform a variety of tasks involved in operating nuc med equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions. Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety guidelines.Assist in or administer radiation to the patient; operate scanning devices; perform laboratory tests on body specimens; dispose of radioactive waste and store radiopharmaceutical waste safely.Calibrate equipment; and control inventory.Cleans, sterilizes and or disinfects areas and/or equipment.Responsible for proper use of Radiology Information System. Understands and uses CR/PACS systems.Shall be actively involved in the TQM process and present creative solutions to processes.Maintains necessary continuing education requirements for license.Demonstrates professional practice and conduct at all times.Teamwork: Establishes clear objectives and goals for work team.What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(CNMT).Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.(RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer Required.(ARRT-N) Nuclear Medicine Technology.Associate's Degree Required2 or more Years of Experience PreferredHCA Houston Healthcare Tomball, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
