Carroll County Memorial Hospital's role is to improve the health and well-being of the residents and visitors to Carroll County and surrounding counties, by providing quality, compassionate, cost effective and convenient health care through community leadership and in collaboration with other healthcare organizations which serve our communities.The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac nuclear medicine studies, while providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient careHourly PRN Role: PRN Employees are required to work a minimum of one (1) shift per 6 weeks.Physical Location: Carroll County Memorial Hospital 309 11 th St. Carrollton, KY 41008The Job You Will Perform:Perform nuclear medicine and cardiac imaging procedures.Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment.Follow radiation safety and regulatory requirements.Provide excellent patient care and communication.Maintain accurate documentation and quality control.Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.The Qualifications, Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring:Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.Current NMTCB and/or ARRT certification.Current state licensure, if applicable.Current BLS/CPR certification.Previous hospital or cardiac nuclear medicine experience preferred.Physical Demands:The employee must regularly:Lift, transfer, and assist patients up to 50 pounds independently and greater than 50 pounds with assistance.Stand and walk for extended periods.Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.Demonstrate manual dexterity and fine motor coordination.Push and pull equipment.Maintain visual and auditory acuity necessary for patient care.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The Company You Will Join: Carroll County Memorial Hospital strives to uphold our Values of Respect, Compassion, Excellence, Stewardship and Justice each day to ensure we provide the best possible services to the communities we serve.Carroll County Memorial Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
