The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt Health is seeking a full-time nuclear medicine physician or nuclear radiologist to join the Section of Nuclear Medicine / PET-CT. The Vanderbilt Health Nuclear Medicine clinical faculty are leaders in their field with extensive publications in multiple areas including, but not limited to, PET and PET/CT and SPECT and SPECT/CT in the evaluation of neurologic, cardiovascular and oncologic disorders.
Position Highlights:
Join a growing section comprised of 9 ABNM certified faculty
Support the full breadth of nuclear medicine services including radiopharmaceutical therapies
Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
Fully accredited Nuclear Medicine residency program, serving both ABNM and ABR pathways
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards

Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience
Position Requirements: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine residency or Diagnostic Radiology residency with fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine or Nuclear Radiology
ABNM eligible/certified or ABR with CAQ in Nuclear Radiology eligible/certified
Hold an MD or equivalent degree
Eligible for TN medical license
Experience in interpretation of general nuclear medicine, SPECT, nuclear cardiology, and PET CT studies
Experience in nuclear medicine therapies, including Lu-177 PSMA, Lu-177 DOTATATE, Radium-223 dichloride, and low and high dose I-131
