Float Pool Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to our Float Pool at Varied Locations in the Jacksonville, FL area.
This is a PRN, Varied Shifts opportunity.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities
Performing high-quality diagnostic procedures
Knowledge of State of (and adherence to) Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials
Protecting patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure
Complying with mandatory education and health requirements.
Experience Requirements
1-2 years Experience working in a hospital setting Required
1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
1-2 years Radioactive Material Experience Required
Education & Credential Requirements
Vocational School
Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT)-NMTCB Required Or
Licensed Nuclear Medical Technologist –ARRT Required Or
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be located at Baptist Health.
Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
