Role Overview
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic acute care team in a PRN capacity. The role involves preparing patients and operating nuclear medicine equipment to perform diagnostic scans that aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities Include
Assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Preparing patients and ensuring safety protocols
Operating advanced nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Interpreting patient information to meet age-specific care needs
Qualifications & Skills
Certification: ARRT (N) or CNMT and applicable state licensure
Education: Associate degree or completion of an ARRT/NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program
Experience: Minimum one year in nuclear medicine preferred
Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, ability to work independently, adaptability to various procedures and patient needs
Additional: Successful completion of competency testing, life support training as per policy
