Job description
Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO) in Carlsbad, New Mexico, seeks a Chemical Engineer/Chemist to join the team overseeing TRU waste disposal operations at WIPP. The role supports the Payloads Engineering group and trains as a Payload Engineer, with focus on TRUCON processing, CCE reviews, and WSPF/WDS updates.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Sciences with 0–3 years of relevant experience, U.S. work authorization, and DOE badge eligibility.
