Nurse Aide Faculty and Program Coordinator
A community college in Aurora is looking for a Nurse Aide Faculty & Program Coordinator to join its Health Sciences department. This is an opportunity for an experienced RN to combine clinical expertise with teaching, mentorship, curriculum development, and program leadership while helping prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
The Opportunity
Step into a role where you can make an impact both in the classroom and at the program level . You’ll teach Nurse Aide/Health Sciences courses while serving as the primary coordinator for the Nurse Aide program, working closely with the Dean of Allied Health and clinical partners.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Teach classroom, laboratory, clinical, hybrid, and/or online courses
Mentor and advise students through their academic and clinical development
Coordinate clinical placements and student clinical experiences
Develop and evaluate curriculum based on industry and regulatory requirements
Monitor student outcomes, certification pass rates, retention, and program success
Coordinate and support Nurse Aide instructors
Maintain program compliance, reporting, clinical agreements, and required documentation
Participate in program assessment, advisory committees, and community partnerships
Help strengthen and grow the Nurse Aide program
What You Bring
Active Colorado RN license or unrestricted multi-state compact RN license
At least 2 years of nursing experience
At least 1 year of long-term care experience required
Experience teaching adults or qualifying Nurse Aide management experience
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree/BSN, Nurse Aide teaching experience, higher education experience, skills-based testing and assessment, curriculum development, clinical-site coordination, program accreditation, or data/reporting experience. A Colorado CTE Health Sciences/Nurse Aide endorsement.
Why This Role?
Salary: $66,450 - $91,750
Full-time faculty position with annual contracts
First-year contract prorated based on start date
