Nurse Aides / Medication Assistant I (NA/MAI)Are you passionate about helping others and making a real impact? Heartview Foundation is looking for caring, dependable individuals to join our team as Nurse Aides / Medication Assistant I (NA/MAI). In this role, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals on their journey to recovery. If you're someone who thrives in a compassionate, people-focused setting, we'd love to meet you.What You'll Do:As a Nurse Aide / Medication Assistant I, you'll be a key part of our residents' recovery experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive living environmentAdministering medications in accordance with established protocols and certification requirementsAssisting residents with activities of daily living and personal care needsSupporting residents with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundryProviding transportation to appointments and community outingsOffering encouragement, emotional support, and positive reinforcementMonitoring residents and reporting concerns to clinical and nursing staffAssisting with documentation and maintaining accurate records as requiredFlexible Scheduling Options:Full Time, 40 hours per week: 2:00 PM or 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM, depending on department needFull Time, 40 hours per week: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AMEvery Other Weekend: 2:00 PM or 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM, depending on department needPRN (as needed): Minimum of two shifts per monthHours worked between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM receive a $1.00 per hour differential.Why work with us?At Heartview Foundation, we take pride in supporting not only our clients but also our team. Our ideal candidate will have:A high school diploma, GED, or equivalentA valid driver's licenseCurrent CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to complete training onsite)Willingness and ability to obtain Medication Assistant I and Nurse Aide certificationsOne year of work experience in a human services or treatment-related setting (preferred)Willingness to complete Narcan administration trainingAbility to pass a background check and comply with our drug-free workplace policy, including pre-employment drug and alcohol screeningIf in recovery, one must have achieved a period of sustained abstinence and be able to demonstrate successful rehabilitation and stability.Ready to Start Your Journey With Us?
