Come join the DMVA team, apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position supports the daily well-being of residents by providing essential non-professional nursing care under the direction of licensed staff. The role focuses on maintaining comfort, safety, and respectful assistance in accordance with established standards. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties: Resident Care: Observe residents and report changes while assisting with daily needs Daily Activities: Support residents with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and restorative programs Safety Measures: Apply safety devices and maintain a secure and organized environment Resident Transport: Move and position residents safely and escort them to appointments Documentation: Record care and services accurately and in compliance with requirements Room Care: Maintain cleanliness, order, and readiness of resident rooms and supplies Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (8 hours per day; 40 hours per week)Work hours will be determined from the following shifts, with a 30-minute lunch. All shifts offer rotating days and weekends. Every other weekend is required. 1st shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM3rd shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; orSix months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry. Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
