McLaren Lapeer RegionDepartment: 1 N Transitional Care UnitDaily Work Times: 6:30am-7:00pmShift: DaysScheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 72Benefits: 403(b), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurancePosition Summary: Under the direction of a Licensed Nurse, supports the Nursing Staff by performing basic nursing care to the resident. Assist and maintains a safe and clean work environment. Maintains resident privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and respects resident's rights.Responsibilities:1. Hourly Rounding including: Pain, Position, Personal needs, and Possessions2. Assist residents in and out of bed and into a wheelchair using the correct lifting and transferring technique.3. Gives residents baths.Required:· High school diploma or equivalent· Successful completion of a Michigan State Certified Nurse Aide training program & current State of Michigan certification· BLS Certification within 3 months of hirePreferred: Previous experience as a Nurse Aide
