If you're passionate about helping others and thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment, we'd love to have you join our team.As a CNA, you'll work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to support patients throughout their hospital stay, providing comfort, assistance, and exceptional care when it matters most.What You'll DoAs a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct patient support and assist the nursing team with daily patient care activities.Responsibilities include:Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feedingTake and record vital signs accuratelyAssist with patient mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioningProvide comfort measures and support to patients and familiesObserve and report changes in patient condition to the nursing teamMaintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environmentSupport nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient careCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and team membersQualificationsRequiredCurrent Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationHigh School Diploma or equivalentPreferredPrevious healthcare experience, though not requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentCompassionate, patient-focused approach to careCommitment to providing exceptional patient experiencesWhy Choose Deaconess?We believe our team members are our greatest asset.
