Overview
nLicensed Nurse Assistants are responsible for obtaining and recording patient vital signs, documenting in patient’s electronic medical record, assisting patients with activities of daily living. Assisting the patient care teams. Keeping room/unit clean and providing exceptional patient experience and care in an inpatient setting. Trainees will transition to the LNA role after successfully completing the Nurse Assistant Training and obtaining a State of New Hampshire License for Nurse Assistant.

nResponsibilities
nResponsibilities:
nnnObtaining vital signs, temperature, pulse, height, weight and blood pressure, intakes and outputs,
n
nnDocumenting in patient’s electronic medical record.
n
nnAssisting patients with activities of daily living.
n
nnAssisting the RN – tasks delegated by their direct care RN.
n
nnAssisting other LNAs with designated assignments.
n
nnAssisting with discharges/admissions.
n
nnKeeping room/unit clean.
n
nnProvide an exceptional patient experience and care in an inpatient setting.
n
nnPerforms other duties as required or assigned.
n
n nAttributes of a Successful Nurse Assistant are:

n nQualifications
nApplicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED by the start of the program.
