nSaint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified.
nHOURS: Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
nMay be asked to float to other locations: Overland Park, North Kansas City, Lees Summit

nResponsibilities:
nnnPhone Triage
n
nnSchedules emergent-need appointments.
n
nnPatient follow-up calls.
n
nnPatient education on particular procedures and processes.
n
nnSubject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units.
n
nnRegularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.
n
nnCare for patients with a long-term treatment process.
n
nnAdditional duties as applicable.
n
n nJob Requirements
nApplicable Experience:
n2 years
nBasic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various
nAssociate Degree
