Nurse Clinician-Sleep Program Full Time Days
This is a Full Time, salaried position at 40 hours per week that travels between Grayslake and Lake Forest campuses. This role assists with Sleep Medicine and Pulmonology. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
The Nurse Clinician reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, providing pre-attending care for patients, performing routine nursing duties and demonstrating clinical competency, interpreting and defining abnormalities detected in tests and procedures, communicating and collaborating with other departments, triaging and prioritizing incoming telephone calls, managing urgent/emergent medical situations, serving as a resource for staff and physicians, complying with all existing policies and procedures related to patient care, and initiating and coordinating patient education.
Required qualifications include a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, registered professional nurse licensure in the State of Illinois, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification, and current experience within the past five years or new nursing graduate within the past two years. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Nursing and 1-2 years' experience in ambulatory or acute care.
