We're Hiring | Nurse Director – Hospital, Maternal Child Health
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee Maternal Child Health services, including Labor & Delivery and Level II or higher NICU, at a 275-bed Magnet-designated hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Maternal Child Health nursing operations and multidisciplinary teams.
Oversee Labor & Delivery, NICU, staffing, resource allocation, and patient care delivery.
Drive patient safety, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Manage departmental budgets, operational performance, and strategic initiatives.
Partner with physicians and clinical leaders to establish best practices and improve patient outcomes.
Lead recruitment, staff development, performance management, and survey readiness.
Required Qualifications:
BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years of patient care delivery experience.
At least 2 years of leadership experience with direct reports.
Minimum 2 years of experience managing operational or project budgets.
Active California RN license and BLS certification required at hire.
Director-level experience in Labor & Delivery and Level II or higher NICU.
Magnet facility experience strongly preferred.
Specialty certifications preferred.
