About This Role
The Nurse Director for Maternal Child Health at Kaiser Permanente is responsible for leading patient care delivery systems and practice standards, ensuring optimal patient care, and managing clinical resources. What You'll Do
Establish best practice models and perform strategic planning.
Lead investigations of patient/family/member concerns regarding care.
Partner with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure safe patient care.
Manage resource needs in clinical areas for appropriate assignment and utilization.
Evaluate the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
Assume accountability for patient and employee safety.
Maintain clinical expertise and provide clinical supervision.
Delegate tasks aligned to scope of practice.
Oversee the operation of multiple units within the department.
Direct improvements to operations and technology processes.
Requirements
Education:
Associate's Degree (ADN) required
Experience:
Leadership experience in healthcare settings
Licenses & Certifications:
Current RN License in California
