About This Role
The Nurse Director for Perioperative Services at Kaiser Permanente is responsible for overseeing multiple units, ensuring optimal patient care, and leading strategic initiatives within the hospital. What You'll Do
Establish best practice models and perform strategic planning for patient care delivery systems.
Lead investigations of patient/family/member concerns regarding care and services.
Manage resource needs in clinical areas for appropriate assignment and utilization.
Evaluate the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
Assume accountability for patient and employee safety.
Provide clinical supervision and maintain clinical expertise.
Delegate tasks aligned to scope of practice and perform clinical duties as required.
Oversee the operation of multiple units by identifying member and operational needs.
Direct hospital administrative functions to support patient care and performance targets.
Ensure safe, quality, and standardized care delivery within a 24/7 operational environment.
Requirements
Education:
Associate's Degree (ADN) required
Experience:
Leadership experience in a healthcare setting
Licenses & Certifications:
Current RN License in California
