Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. If you possess strong clinical and administrative skills, and care deeply about patient satisfaction, we want to hear from you.

Nurse Duties and Responsibilities:

· Clinical Care:

· Prepare patients for examinations and perform necessary routine diagnostic checks (e.g. monitor pulse, blood pressure, oxygen, temperature), provide medications and injections, perform EKGs.

· Proficiency to execute efficient blood draws with ICDM -10 diagnosis coding for documentation of medical necessity for ordered lab tests.

· Patient Administration: Process insurance prior authorization approvals accurately and efficiently to prevent delays in patient care.

· Pharmacy Coordination: Prepare and transmit medication orders via electronic prescribing (e-Prescribing) systems.

· Front/Back Office Support: Answer incoming clinic phones, triage patient requests, and schedule patient appointments and referrals for necessary tests.

Qualifications:

· Active LVN license in the state of Texas.

· Previous doctor’s office / outpatient clinic experience required.

· Direct experience submitting and managing prior authorizations with insurance payers.

· Familiarity with e-prescribing tools to send prescribed medications to pharmacies.

· Strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
